Q: What type of leather do you use?


All Axess wallets are made from full-grain Italian vegetable-tanned leather — sourced from the renowned leather districts of Tuscany. This leather ages beautifully, developing a rich patina over time that makes each wallet truly unique.

Q: Why vegetable-tanned leather?


Because real craftsmanship demands patience. Vegetable tanning is a natural, chemical-free process that produces stronger, more durable leather that improves with every year of use — unlike synthetic or chrome-tanned alternatives.

Q: The wallet is a bit stiff — will it loosen up?


Yes. Premium vegetable-tanned leather needs to be worn in. Within a few weeks of daily use, it’ll soften, flex naturally, and form to your cards — exactly as it should.

Q: The color of my wallet seems to darken over time. Is that normal?

Q: Are all the pockets RFID-blocking?


No — and that’s intentional. Some pockets are left unshielded so you can use access cards (like metro passes) without removing them from your wallet. Others are fully RFID-blocking for your sensitive cards.

Q: Will my cards or cash ever fall out?


No. The friction and tight fit of full-grain leather naturally grip your cards and bills. After years of production and testing, there hasn’t been a single report of items falling out.

Q: Do Axess wallets fit British and Euro banknotes?


Yes. British notes (8–8.5 cm high) and Euro banknotes (6–8 cm high) fit comfortably in all Axess models. Our wallets are designed for a global lifestyle — compact, but never cramped.
