Our leather is sourced from a family owned tannery in Tuscany where they use a tanning process using natural tannins. Most importantly, it doesn’t use any harmful chemicals in the tanning process. The exact tannin composition is a well kept family secret.
This careful tanning process results in a long lasting leather that develops a rich patina with time and use.
